Gunner von Guben is a stunning 2 year old German Shepherd on the larger side.  His alias is “Gusto” because this goofball is both strong and energetic.  He pranced into our doggie play yard like he owned it, introducing himself to the other dogs and then opting to roam around independently and mind his own business. Gunner lived in a home with children aged 6 and 8 and has been around horses.  This handsome dude was left alone for so many hours most days that, like most working dogs, he became bored and got quite adept at climbing/jumping fences.  Now fully mature at 2 years, Gunner will quickly respond to an owner who provides basic training and sets boundaries.  Gusto – er, Gunner is sharing a kennel with another dog and will do well with either female or non-confident male dogs.  A condo environment, or an owner who is home much of the time, would be perfect for our special boy.
